1. Follow up on
contract and/or home inspection repairs – be
prepared to
present receipts. 2.
Discuss “Pre” and “Post” Occupancies and with settlement
processor -- prior to closing.
3. Obtain pre-approval
of powers of attorney from the Settlement
Agent and
the Lender.
4. Be certain funds
for closing are in a liquid account and that certified
funds
are obtainable.
5. Schedule the
transfer of utilities and make certain they are “on” for
walk-through.
6. Arrange for child
and/or pet care.
